| So Colorado was a blast. We drove up in Joe's new Toyota 4runner that he bought at the last minute. We got up there at 3am in the morning. Mr. Ebs cabin/house whatever you want to call it is so tyte. The first day after we got there we basicaly just crashed til whenever we woke up. Then we went down and helped dig some holes for the ebs to plant a couple of trees. The next day we decided to go Whitewater Rafting for the entire day. We went with American Adventures (www.americanadventure.com). It was hella fun. The n the day after that we went on a short hike to the Lost Lake with Mrs. Eb and this other old student they had. Then JOe decided that he wanted to climb a mountain to get some frickin snow. So after a grueling climb with my out of shape ass dying, we got to teh snow... and yea... it was snow... Thheeenn we decided to go on a backpacking trip for a overnighter to Ptarmigan Lake. That was interesting. Joe again decided that he wanted to hike up to the highest point around us which was the Continental Divide. So again we went with joe singing the lord of the rings song.... When we got back the next day we went on a duckying trip on the river for half a day. Duckying is like inflatable kayaks... kinda look at the AAE website above if you want to find out more about it lol. THat was one of the funnest things i've done. First there was some delay for our trip because the morning trip had a old lady that flipped in a rapid and wouldn't get back onto her ducky. So they had to send a raft down to pick up the lady. So the mornign trip didn't get back til 3:30. We finally got started and at first everybody was doing well, nobody flipped, teh first rapid was fun as hell, then on one of the rapids four of us suddenly just flipped at the exaact same spot. it was so funny. The rest of teh ride only 2 more people flipped so that was good. Everyday we were in colorado we went to a place called K's Dairy Delight that is kinda like Dairy Queen but about 10x better. I am already looking forward to goign back next year and next year Kayaking is on the list of to do already
But first got to get through another year of school......................................... that starts monday....
Here is a pic of the 4 of us in front of joes new 4runner preparing to go backpacking for a overnighter.
Here is Mr. Eb, Mrs. Eb, Joe, Me, Joe's cousin, and Carrie.

| Man life back in the states kind of sucks after spending the first half of summer in Europe. I think it is mostly because of the fact that I'm taking summer school... I'm sure if I didn't have to take classes I would be liking it a lot better here lol. So yea summer school... I so wish that it is over that is all i'll say about it.
So it looks like me Joe and his cousin will be going to Colorado to visit Mr Eb. Plan on going whitewater rafting, kayaking, and something else to be determined. It sounds like it'll be good times. I loved whitewater rafting in Switzerland so I can't wait going again! Kayaking sounds like it'll be fun too other than the whole my big fat head will be underneath the water for a good amount of the time bit lol. But it'll be good to be relaxing up in the mountains out of the heat before school starts.
And now I have to go work on my ENG102 essay Hope everybody has had a awesome summer! | | |
| Ah our program in France has finally come to an end and it has been a great time here. I am here in France chilling for a couple of days, going to Czech Republic for a couple of days, and then I will finally be on my way back to good ol sunny Arizona. These past couple of weeks has just been a blast and I could take forever to type up all the fun things that happened so I won't
But I do miss my car, the gluttonous food style that we americans live in , and cheap food, so I am ready to head back as soon as possible. On another note, read the Da Vinci Code if you haven't already cause that book is just amazing. I am off to go sit at a cafe and sip my cafe latte and read Angels and Demons... I will update sometime later about everything that I have done but that will be a amazingly long post so I'll do it later. Hope everybody had a fun first half of summer!

| Wow I am sitting in France right now!!! Trying to stay awake so I can adjust to the time difference. So many fun things have already happened. First it was an adventure attempting to get off of the plane at Charles de Gaulle Airport to the RER train terminal to get to Paris. Then walking around looking for food. Bought some nasty ass carbonated water, didn't know that we bought carbonated water and carried it around half of paris looking for the Seine River to eat and drink. Then finding out its carbonated water and basically just throwing it all away. grrr Then we just walked around being typical American tourists that stand out for a mile. Right now it is 2:45pm here so about 7 more hours to go before i go to sleep. Don't know how I am going to last that long. I'll try to update as often as i can! | | |
